Dumped! Brand Names fighting to stay on shelves.




Bernstein Research is reporting that Wal-Mart is reducing shelf space in multiple categories for branded products and replacing with store brands.  This will have impact on sku assortment in other grocery retailers impacting your business and growth initiatives.  Article details here.  


This effort only demonstrates the importance of developing and growing relationships with your ideal consumer groups.  Retailers cannot be depended upon to grow your brand.  Your efforts should nurture and grow your brand with choice of retail location as part of the branding matrix.  It your responsibility now more than ever to build, develop, and grow strength of brand with your consuming audience.
